Animal Farm - George Orwell
This is a classic. Yup indeedy. Love the way the idea of animals being more than animals is played out. Epic. x

Black Swan Green - David Mitchell
This novel was from the author of Cloud Atlas (apparently its one of those must read books- but i ahvent read it).
Anyway.
Well this book isnt what i'd normally read. Its about this teenage guy in a small town in U.K during the Falklands war. This kid has a stutter, and gets beat up alot, although hes secretly a very good poet. I guess, i didnt really relate to this because 1. Im not a 13 year old boy. 2. The writing was very stop and starty- short sentences and changing subject all teh time. 3. It took ages to read because of point 2.
So... probably wouldnt recommend it, but if you liked cloud atlas then maybe you should. Or amybe i should just open my mind?

The Notebook - Nicholas Sparks
Book One of the year for me.
The novel from which an epic movie (the notebook- duh) was made, is great, and suprisingly still made me cry.
Not that ive written a book review before, i figure that if you've see the movie- then you should read the book. I wish i read the book a while ago however. I also think this should be on the to read list of any romantic.
Since, everyone (well i hope everyone) has seen the movie, i probably dont need to tell you what its about- but its well cute. Awww.
